The Car

The latest RenaultSport Clio Cup Racing car was developed from the very successful RenaultSport Clio 197 road car introduced in 2006. 

Raced in France, Germany, Italy and SPain during 2006 the car comes to the UK highly developed. 

 The Clio Cup car comes with a race developed 205bhp at 7300rpm engine from RenaultSport France and a Sadev six-speed sequential gearbox which has been specifically designed for motorsport allowing an up-shift at full throttle without using the clutch.

Race prepared body shell with full safety roll cage, F1 inspired aerodynamics incorporating rear wing and rear air diffuser, motorsport four pot Brembo brakes and Michelin controlled slick tyres which are all monitored with an on-board data logging system from Magneti Marelli complete a very quick and exciting race car.
